Specific objectives:

1-Conduct NGO-team building activities in Dibra, Albania, to highlight the specific challenges faced by environmental activists in the Western Balkan Region.

2-Facilitate knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas among participants to find innovative solutions for the preservation of natural resources.

3-Raise awareness among local communities about the importance of environmental conservation and the value of protecting the natural heritage in Dibra

 

The project aimed to foster mutual cooperation and exchange of experiences among environmental activists in the Western Balkans region. Creation of a network of cooperation and support among them by gathering 15 activists and environmental students from Kosovo, Montenegro, and Albania. During a four-day-long stay in Diber, Albania, NGO-team building activities to be conducted to highlight the challenges faced by the community of activists working on environmental issues. The project’s main goal was to exchange ideas and find solutions to fight common issues such as pollution, dams, or deforestation. It also aimed to promote the preservation of natural resources in the region and raise awareness among local communities.

 

The project aimed to have an impact at the local and regional level.

To create a long-term cooperation between environmental NGOs in the region and to increase the awareness of local residents.

Also to bring positive models to these residents to inspire them in their causes.
