As the 2025–2026 academic year began, something beautiful happened in the small community of Komsi.
Together with our friends at SA Community Albania, we at RESU – Reinforce Sustainability had the joy of visiting “Ali Metra” School with one goal in mind: to make the first day of school a little brighter for children in need.
What started as a modest mission—to provide school supplies to 37 children in grades 1–5—quickly grew into something far greater. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support from our community, we were able to offer full school kits to 73 children, reaching students from grades 1 to 9.
This was more than just a donation. It was a moment of connection, of shared purpose, and of believing that every child deserves the tools to grow, learn, and dream. The sparkle in their eyes reminded us why we do what we do.
We’re deeply grateful to School Director Hasije Ramlika and Komsi Administrative Unit Head Ylli Hani for welcoming us with open arms, and to every single person who helped make this action possible—your support truly mattered.
Why This Matters
Education is not just about books—it’s about dignity, opportunity, and inclusion. By ensuring children start the school year equipped and excited, we’re not just helping individuals—we’re strengthening communities.
At RESU and SA Community, we believe that small actions, when multiplied by many, can create powerful change. Whether it’s a cleanup action, an environmental campaign, or a moment of kindness like this—our mission is to empower communities, protect nature, and inspire hope.
